Crackers Wither Storm Mod Wiki Guide: Items, Mobs and Blocks

This Crackers Wither Storm mod wiki guide is a quick reference for the things you meet during a playthrough. It explains what each one does in plain terms. Names and details can vary slightly between mod versions, so use your in-game recipe book and tooltips as the final word.
Bosses
| Name | What it is | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Wither Storm | The main boss, powered by a command block at its centre | Grows through phases and consumes the world around it |
| Withered Symbiont | A mutated, wither-sickened zombie, much larger than a normal one | Summoned by the storm's command block at the end of phase 5; drops the Command Block Book |
The phase-by-phase breakdown is in Wither Storm phases explained.
Mobs and wither sickness
Wither sickness is the storm's spreading influence. It changes living things and parts of the world it touches.
- Sickened mobs: ordinary mobs changed by wither sickness. They are more hostile and signal that the storm's influence has reached an area.
- Sickened villagers: villagers affected by the sickness. A cured sickened villager can gain trades for some tainted and withered items, which makes curing them worthwhile.
- Heads and body parts of the storm: not separate mobs you can farm, but parts of the boss that attack and pull targets as it grows.
Key items
| Item | How you get it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Command Block Book | Dropped by the Withered Symbiont | Crafted into Super TNT or combined with a tool |
| Super TNT | Crafted using the Command Block Book | The centre ingredient of the Formidi-Bomb |
| Formidi-Bomb | Super TNT, 4 gunpowder in the corners, 4 blaze powder on the sides | The only way to push the storm past phase 5; 600-second default countdown after crafting |
| Phasometer | A mod item; check the recipe book for your version | Shows the storm's phase and whether it is formidibombable |
| Tainted and withered items | Found in affected areas or traded | Materials and trades linked to wither sickness |
When the Formidi-Bomb is placed you will hear a sound similar to a command block. Once lit, a chromatic aberration effect appears on screen and gets stronger as the bomb nears the storm.
Command block tools
Combining a Command Block Book with a vanilla tool creates a command block version of that tool with infinite durability. The station depends on the version: a smithing table on 1.19.4 and an anvil on 1.20.1. These tools are essential for breaking the command block core in the storm's final phase. The defeat guide shows where they fit in the route.
Structures and blocks
- Rundown house: generates at X: 0, Z: 0. Beside it is the unfinished summoning structure with a command block in the centre and wither skulls nearby.
- Summoning structure: a wither-shaped build. Placing the last skull spawns the storm at phase 0.
- Tainted blocks: blocks changed by the storm's influence, a visual sign that an area is affected.
- The command block core: the storm's weak point, exposed through an opening in its body during the final phase.
Using community wikis well
A community fan wiki for the mod exists and is useful for deeper details. Community pages are written by players, so check which mod version an article describes. When a wiki page and your game disagree, trust the game and the mod's official changelog.
For commands to spawn and inspect these items in a test world, see the commands guide.
